A kenya Truck Driver and one lady from Lango Sub Region suspected cases of COVID-19 is death

GULU-UGANDA: The management of St Mary Hosptial Lacor in critical meeting following the death of two patients suspected of suffering with COVID-19 Pandemic.

Josephine Anying the Communication Spokesperson for St Mary Hospital Lacor in a communication with the Oyeng Yeng News confirmed the death of two people who died from COVID-19 isolation unit last nigh, but says she con not confirm to the media, says the COVID-19 focal person for St Mary Hospital Lacor will issue statement later,when contact.

“Wait for the officail statement from the Dr. Emmanuel the official spokesperson for the hospital.

The Kenya driver was pick from Elegu Uganda-South Sudan boarder point from Saturday April 25th 2020 and taken to Gulu Hospital for testing, source said.

Another woman who is suspected of having COVID-19 pandemic was transferred from Aber Health IV Health Center from Oyam District on critical condition on Saturday April 25th,2020 admitted at St Mary HospitalLacor in isolation unit.

The two suspect the blood sample was taken yesterday Sunday April 26th to Entebbe COVID-19 center for testing, but their result yet out to confirm whether result is positive or negative

the Chairperson for Gulu COVID-19 Gulu DHO Yoweri Idiba his phone was off when contacted , neither Martin Ojara the Chairman of Gulu District Local Council.

Our effect to contact Major Okot Lapolo, Gulu District Residence Commissioner who is the Chairperson of COVID-19 Task Force was fruitless,
