The writing is on the wall, NRM party bigwigs are sacrificing Ojara Martin Mapenduzi for the win of Catherine Lamwaka, the Woman MP for Omoro District, and Anthony Akol, the Kilak North MP. To push for Otim Bosmic for a win in Layibi-Bardege, Gulu West City Division, the comedian renounced his Acholi musician hero, is set to become the NRM flag bearer.

Bardege-Layibi Division,  the hottest NRM primary election is in that area, Omoro Woman MP between Layika and Catherine Lawmaker, Kilak North Okot Ken is beating Akol Anthony, Nwoya Woman MP, Christine Lanyero is beating Judith Can, Lamwo between Hilary Onek Obaloker and Prof Amone, is a dog fight. Okello George Lucima and Dr. Okullo Abuka ,another II Lamwo war.

Another hotly contested area, Aswa County, between Simon Wokorach and Okot Kenneth, Gulu City Woman NRM race, between Laker Jolly Grace and Alima Remy.

Pader Woman MP race Sarah Menya is likely to thwart CD Luwila, Toci County, Willy Opoka is battling former Commissioner of Uganda Police Odur Ogoyomac

Otim Bosmic, a renowned Acholi hit song Musician set to thrash Ojara Martin Mapenduzi, Gulu City Layibi Berdege Division NRM Primary election that is scheduled on Thursday, July 2025, in a heated, chaotic campaign that exposed the former Gulu Municipality District Chairman, accusing him embedded for corruption and adultery of 21th Century.

According to the implacable Uganda state house, an anonymous source revealed to our Correspondent that Gen. Charles Otema Awany, who is believed to be in charge of the NRM logistic campaign and the inner circle, has decided to sacrifice Martin Ojara Mapenduzi, to allow Otim Bosmic to go through in Gulu City Layibi-Bardege Division.

“The fear is that should Otim lose the NRM primary election, then he promised that he will campaign in Omoro District to make sure that Catherine Lamwaka, the Woman MP for Omoro District, will de-campaign her. Later, he will also de-campaign and make sure no other NRM candidates win in the Acholi Sub Region.” Sources close to Gen. Otema Awany mooted.

Gulu City, Layibi-Bardege Division NRM primary grass root election has attracted five candidatures as follows: Otim Bosmic, Ojara Martin Mapenduzi, and Dennis Okello Oweka aka Acogo, Amb. Mike Ocula, the former Kilak MP in the 8th parliament, Pastor Olal Roye, and Robinson Oryema aka Ogeri.

But the political language campaign by the three candidates, Oryema Robinson, Otim Bosmic, Dennis Okello Oweka Acogo they has been attacking Ojara Martin Mapenduzi, who stood as an Independent MP, NRM favor. That he is most of the corrupt Acholi MPs who swindle UGX billion funds meant for USMID. They even accused him of having fathered 53 women and as an alien who’s his father was a refugee from Sudan who sought political asylum in Uganda during Martin Lagu’s led Anyanya rebellion in the 1960s.

“Don’t vote for Martin Ojara Mapenduzi, because he does not have Acholi in heart. Ojara Mapenduzi is a Dinka from South Sudan, while others say he is from the Lukoro tribe in South Sudan.” Otim Bosmic accused him of allegedly uttering words during his political campaign.

The Gulu City Woman NRM MPs ‘ primary election is as follows: Joyce Remy Alima, Laker Jolly Grace, Lagum Concy Aopoto

Gulu City, Laroo-Pece City Division, is being contested by Tony Kitara, Atim Oleyowiya, and Atim Oleyowia, giving Tony Kitara a run for his money.

Amuru NRM aspirants MPs for Kilak North, Anthony Akol, Okot Ken, and Christopher Ojera, whose struggle is between Ojera Christopher and Okot Ken, as Anthony Akol lobbies his opponent, Okot Ken. To set down for him.

Kilak South, there are two NRM candidates, Mike Lakony and Orach Otobi. Otobi is giving Mike Lakony a run for his money.

Omoro District

Andrew Ojok Oulanyah and Ben Acellam are battling for votes; however, the dog fight votes two they are both have good ground.

Woman MP NRM candidatures, the hottest contest is between Catharine Lamwaka, the Woman MP for Omoro District, and Layika Ojera, the ground is not in favor of Catharine Lamwaka.

District Chairman Local Government, Douglas Peter Okello Okao, and Andrew Okot Obibi are in the tide race; however, voters are in favor of Okot Obibi.

Nwoya District

Woman MP Sheet is also being contested by Catherine Lanyero Awany, and Judith Acan. She is being backed by Adong Lilly, the former Woman MP for Nwoya District in the 10th Parliament, who is standing against Geoffrey Okello aka Komlok.

Pader

Pader Woman NRM aspirants MPs, Christine Dronie Luwila and Sarah Menya, the NRM MP leader, Pader North aspirants MP candidates Ochen Julius, Okello Okello Sam, Otober Welborn Ocwee Sopi Anywar.

Pader District Chairman, Col. Obwoya Oyat Frealess, incumbent District Chairman, battling with two more, Alfred Akena, who hail from Puranga Sub County, and Oringa Larogo Godfery. Akena Alfred is likely to beat his fellow aspirants.

Agago District Chairman aspirants. Opiyo Leonard Ojok, the District planner, Otto Wilson, Okello Wilfred, John Along, Odoch Simon, and Abalo Lilian Ongom.

Agago East County, Anywar Richard Ricky, the current MP plag bearer, Akaca Jimmy Mukili, and Penywii James.

Agago North MP, Okot John Amose, the current MP bearer, Lugwar Benson, Atim Beatrice Anywar, and Okello.
