Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu aka Bobi Wine, the National Unity Platform (NUP) president has said Ugandans have become slaves of the regime.
Bobi Wine who was on Monday addressing his supporters in Gulu City under the banner NUP UP4 Democracy Resilient said, “We have become slaves on our land as the murder regime has grabbed our land and even exhumed graves of our loved ones.”
“What has taken place in Northern Uganda, the land grabbing, massacre of Acholi for over two decade during the LRA conflict. “On record he abducted former Chief Justice Ben Kiwanuka in 1972, he wrote in his book showing the Mustard seed. National Unity Platform party president Robert Kyagulanyi re-echoed, questioning whether our children who are going to be born will still be following lamentation. We are doing this to defeat him in his own game, the election rigging which he has been using through Uganda Army UPDF. Appealing If people turn up in big numbers the way we did this year 2025 in Kawempe North by election, he came up with all the military amours, but we defeated him. Now Museveni used justice. He ordered her to nullify the election, but still we are going to defeat him. He has exposed himself; we must free ourselves.
We must have a plan, that is why we have leaders like you in millions in Uganda, the leaders I am looking at who are standing before me in future are the IGP, Army Commander, Ambassadors in the making, the dictator is not going tomorrow, but he must go. We are in pressure, they even will kill us, but let the struggle in you never surrender, this why you leaders are charged with responsibility.
