BISHOP ADVISES ANGLICAN CHURCH TO REJECT DEFECTORS-AS THE OMORO MP ASKS VOTERS TO CHOOSE CANDIDATE BASED ON MERIT IN HUNGER BITS.

The bishop of northern Uganda Anglican Church asks his congregations to reject defectors running away from the Northern Uganda Anglican Church mainstream, and says the leader is elected once at a time. Those who have hailed to be elected by the House of Bishops; some of them will come here to confuse you and put some of the Rev. in charge of their fall hood.

The Omoro MP told voters during the opening of Hill View Church of Uganda that happened on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Odek Hill View Primary School, Odek Sub County during the bishop Geoffrey Loum visitation, stressing important of Ugandans choosing the right candidates based on merit rather than party line. Both messages emphasised making decisions based on character and performance rather than party switching or loyalty

Sunday, August 9, midday at Odek Hill View Primary School, was a marry merry banquet day; there was festivity for the Anglican Church of Uganda of Awere Christianity amidst hunger stricken on looker turning up in big numbers to witness the new Anglican Church of Uganda stepping into Odek Catholic-dominated zone.

Bishop Geoffrey Loum opened the Anglican Church of Uganda at Odek Hill View Private Primary School, arriving early in the morning to beat the Sunday scorching sun. At midday, he baptized 120 new Christians who had been undertaking fellowship training for a couple of months.

The newly baptized recited the Apostles’ Creed before the congregation, that summarizes core teachings about God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the church, forgiveness, resurrection, and eternal life

“I baptize you in the name of God the Father, the Holy Spirit, and God the Son; go out and remain faithfully, discard Satan with all his acts and followers.” Bishop Geoffrey Loum commissioned.

He advised his followers that they should stand firm against some of the Church of Uganda Anglican members who have defected to start their new denomination; there are some people who will be coming here to put some Reverends to join them. Be on watch every time.

“I warned you not to join some group of the Anglican Church of Uganda, the defectors, the group of breakaways; they will come to this very church and put your Reverends to be part of them. I know the leader is chosen; not all people can be elected.” Bishop Geoffrey Loum stressed.

The bishop says pe ilwor an eno. Advise the Hill View church of Uganda and the Anglican community not to fear him. He says now his people have stormed because the Acholi social status is no more; we have family breakdown, men look the other way, while their spouses also reject them because of domestic violence.

Men these days have resorted to the heavily Alcoholic drinking, avoiding their men’s responsibility, causing total mayhem in the family, as wives and husband’s part.

His second messages to the congregation were that God does not leave his people ( Lubanga pe weko dano idyer Lapiro); God does not abandon his people amidst storms. I know we are facing famine due to the prolonged spell, as people are dying due to hunger.

My third message is to be faithful, like Jacob, who was sold into slavery by his brothers. Because of his faithfulness, when he was thrown into the deep pit, he knew that God was with him. When the readers from Egypt came along their way, he was pulled from the deep pit and sold into slavery.

“When Jacob was chained and was moving, he was very bitter, full of anger against his 11 brothers. When he reached Egypt, the deployed in the house of the Egyptian commander, who was in charge of the household. But later, he was betrayed by the wife of the Egyptian Commander; later, from the prison, later, because of his faithfulness, he was appointed the Prime Minister of Egypt.” Northern Uganda bishop advised.

Hon. Andrew Ojok Oulanyah, the Omoro County MP, reiterates that today, August 9, 2026, is 75 years when nuclear Boom was dropped on target: The City of Nagasaki, located on the island of Kyushu, Japan. I am the Chairman of the Committees on Information, Technology and National Guidance of the 12^th Uganda Parliament departmental sectoral committee of Parliament; the committee oversees government digital transformation, ICT infrastructure expansion, data protection law, and policy implementation for the technology.

We have carried out research in Omoro District, and our findings are that the pupils’ dropout from education in Primary Five: “Pupils dropped out for the simple reason of getting married; the pupils dropped out to start a child-headed family at the age of 14 years old.”

“We have poverty as a problem in Acholi Sub Region; let us use the problem we have to get us out of poverty as the Japanese had in 1945, 75 years ago, when the mother bomb was carried. But the Omoro people must use the poverty problems as an opportunity, work hard, avoid Alcoholism and loitering.” Hon Andrew Ojok Oulanyah argued

Later on, Hon Ojok Oulanyah opened Pandora’s box on the current sweeping Local Council 2, taking scheduled on August 10, arguing that the Omoro MP told voters during the opening of Hill View Church of Uganda that happened on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Odek Hill View Primary School, Odek Sub County during the bishop Geoffrey Loum visitation, stressing the importance of Ugandans choosing the right candidates based on merit rather than party line. “Don’t vote for party member loyalty, but vote for the people of integrity, because the Local Council 2 chairmanship is very significant; we have cattle restocking in North-Eastern Uganda, and we have Parish Development Model. The LC2 are in-charge of writing the names of the beneficiaries.

In the last cattle restocking, many of the LC1 wrote the names of their spouses and relatives; we need people who can stand up and be counted.
