The race between Catherine Lamwaka, the incumbent Woman MP for Omoro District and Betty Layika is do or die as Puranga Community in Omoro district remained tight lipped sending fear to deep state as the two iron ladies travestying and wooing the voters.
Ocen Joe Lamony, the campaign Manager for Hon. Catherine Lamwaka, the incumbent MP for Omro District stopped and warned the Northern Uganda Media Club (NUMEC), not to step foot at Lakim Village, Odek Sub County where they would be holding a campaign rally. Reason because the people of Omoro Community are attacking his candidate.
“NUMEC pressmen are not welcome during our campaign rally, only we invited them during our luncheon. Okumu Livingstone, I am not allowing you to go to our campaign ground, not even you, all the media are banned from covering our campaign. Otherwise I can attain you later on, I am not even giving you the Telephone numbers of my candidate.” Joe Lamony warned.
