Accusing one person called Lamony Joe who was found ticking the votes and changing figures of voter returning forms in Labora Sub County inflating voters’ figure to 4,000, Obibi decried.
Okot Obibi alleged, in Laboro Sub County, the numbers of NRM voters in Yellow Book registers is not more than 2,000 voters. However, Okello Peter Okao his main rival the person who rigged my votes by Lamony Joe the owner of LAMCO hotel in Gulu, Obibi told NBS TV.
So far, the result from Okot Andrew Obibi shows that he is on lead in all 13 Sub Counties with total votes cast 12, 480, while his rival Okello Douglas Okao got total votes cast 10, 480 votes.
According to information collected from most of the 13, sub-Counties of Omoro, especially Odek, Ora-pwoyo, Acet Town Council, Aremo, Akidi, Lakwana and others. Bobi, Kock Ongako, Koro, Omoro TC, Abuga, and Palenga TC. The record from the voters returning form indicates that there has been voter inflation by his rival.
A caller from Odek Sub County on Rupiny 75.7 FM, says there has been heavily votes buying including dishing money to all GISO, the Omoro DISO, and the Omoro RDC which they became part of the machine rigging.
“We are seeing trend of voters rigging by big shorts by deploying UPDF forces and Uganda Police Forces, if the primary National Resistance Movement (NRM), is how the election is taking shape, then there is no use of calling for election in Uganda.” Ojok Jimmy, from Odek Sub County warned.
