Congo they are defending themselves against Tutsi expansion, what about we Acholi.
There is adage ward, that says the dogs who have the born in its mouth cannot bits, Acholi people now they are like dogs with born in their mouth, both elected leaders, opinion leaders, cultural leaders, Religious leader and Civil servants, they cannot talk because they have born in their mouths.
GULU CITY-MONDAY APRIL 14, 2025.
(Okumu Livingstone Langol)
The Apaa fight has attracted both non-state actors and politicians within Acholi Sub Region and those from diaspora as troubles and Conflict brew.
“The Apaa at its height again, Madi community chopped the figure of Acholi ber village chief called Ocira, igniting tribal war.”
Ugandans are wondering why the government allows conflict to breed so long in Apaa 40 square kilometers of land, in Amuru District since 2012, because there is a proxy war being headed by businessmen fueling trouble between Acholi and Madi communities that have been living together for over 100 years.
Major General Flex Busizoori UPDF 4 Division Commander declared curfew while appearing on Radio Rupiny 95.7 FM, the popular “Uganda Waa program.” That take place every Saturday from 10:00-1:00PM local time, that although over 600 people took up harms, bows and arrows to fight the Madi community,
“As we talk now Apaa is under curfew”. Major Gen Flex Busizoor. his footed voice was played during the talk shows
Footnote: {April 21, 2014, marked 100 years since the West Nile region was annexed to the British protectorate of Uganda in 1914, the year World War I broke out in Europe. The theme of celebrations to mark the big event is celebrating our heritage and providing hope for the future.
On April 21, 1914, an Order in Council was issued by the British Government which officially promulgated new boundaries of Uganda, including, for the first time, the West Nile region which was hitherto part of the Belgian Congo. A.C. Weather head was dispatched to the area as the first colonial administrator and he established a new district headquarters at Arua.
Today, the West Nile region with an estimated population of 3.2 million people consists of eight districts; Adjumani, Arua, Koboko, Maracha, Moyo, Nebbi, Yumbe and Zombo. West Nile is a multi-ethnic region comprising four main tribes; Alur, Kakwa, Madi and Lugbara. Aringa is now recognized as a tribe although during the colonial era and much of the post-colonial period, the Aringa were considered as a county of the Lugbara ethnic group.
Since 1914, West Nile has been an integral part of the Northern Province which became the Northern Region at independence with Gulu as regional headquarters. West Nile is today a region of the Greater North. West Nile are, therefore, politically northerners. Any attempt to mislead our people by claiming as one junior minister did that West Nile belongs elsewhere is dishonest and unacceptable.}
Norah Vicky Odong, the former candidates for Aruu Women MP, Pader District was heartbeats to support the 60,000 Apaa arms groups who took up arms to fight Madi people who are being used by state power to grab Apaa land.
She alluded: “If 600 arms groups of people have taken arms against illegal land grabbers, then I think we are on the right track, for how long shall we be begging. Any attack in any part of Acholiland means attack on us. We are going to be safe.” Madi and other migrants to leave our land. The defeat of Madi means Acholi land is safe. Norah Vicky Odong warns.
The MP Anthony Akol appeared on Rupiny FM, the popular Saturday, on April 5, Programs
Here below is what happened in brief
Anthony Akol, the MP for Kilak North, the latest Uganda Legislator who crossed the floor of parliament two months ago, wants Apaa the conflict to come to an end by creating a new district, this follows the alienation of two people, Uganda People Defense Forces confirmed.
“The Village chief, one called Ocira of Acholi Ber village in Apaa Sub County comprising 111 villages, Amuru District, A village of Acholi Ber who went to defend for his life was got on the way by Madi people by bad luck the adversary, they chopped off his figure. When he reached home, his appearance attracted the irate Acholi community who gathered in hundreds and went for a counter revenge attak.” Anthony Akol fumed.

Martin Bruce became a renounced foreign investor whose name strikes. “Seizure of community land in Uganda by foreign companies for environmental ends – dubbed as ‘green land grabbing’ (Corson & MacDonald, 2012) – is on the rise. As of 2017, several foreign companies acquire concessions to run private wildlife conservancies in Uganda (Tenywa, 2017). While this could be a ‘development opportunity’ (Cotula et al., 2009), deprivation of the rural poor from land in violent ways could stifle development (Deng, 2011).”
Anthony Akol furthermore says, as we talk now over 600 people from Acholi community have pitched came with bows and arrows ready protecting their land against Madi community who are being fronted by Habitat Humanity, the group of Non-Governmental Organization NGO who want Madi people in Adjumani District to get land title.
“I cities some of the Acholi politicians for inciting Acholi people to takes arms against the Madi people, citing Aturu social media activist from Agago District who took up arms ” Anthony Akol warned
The Apaa still raises issues that also gather more attention from Acholi across the regions because of its empowering with minerals like Uranium, oil and gas in large quantities, as Acholi in diaspora pick up the bones.
More heartfelt pure in
Odongkara M. living in Canada forwarded voice recording from James Born calls for common unity to face Tutsi expansion in Acholiland, following Apaa upheaval and the Adilang environmental degradation where a big chunk of land about 60,000 square kilometers has been cut down by migrants from western Uganda, who called the plain land their farm.
Verbatim from James Born from a video clip through whatsapp.
“I would like to send a message to Acholi who are in diaspora today Friday April 11, 2025. When I woke up, I watched Brian Mark’s Luo online TV. He was in Adilang Sub County, Agago District where he showed us the most dangerous incident that is happening in Adilang Sub County.
I also watched the Lakwed TV online, but what shocked me was Maria. A film where issues have gone viral on social media more than what is happening in Apaa.
We have to dive in now, our brothers and sisters who are in Uganda. They are now biting themselves in bottles like Grasshoppers who have been stuffed into bottles. Including our elders, brothers and sisters in the August House, when the Grasshoppers that have been stuffed in the bottle.
We need somebody from Diaspora to go and break that bottle, let us not forget the most expensive beautiful luxury cars we are driving in the USA, Canada, European countries, Denmark, Sweden, German China, Australia and Japan and wearing expensive watches.
If our parents who labored to give us that useful life did not do it 40 and 60 years ago that is why we are now living a luxurious life abroad and we have abandoned ourselves which is a big shame and problem to us.
We cannot live here, there is an adage saying that a dog born in their mouth cannot bite. Acholi have now been born in their mouth, what you hear is the dogs trying to bite bark, they make noise uhhh uhhh uhhh.
It’s now worst when you see the suffering of our people in Apaa, the trees cutting in Adilang, the land environmental degradation in Bar Lajwar now as we talk, the Banyankole who acquired new land there have given birth to 300 children taking our teenage girls child, and their mothers to be their wives is a taboo to us.
The land that has been destroyed from Adilang Sub County up to Orom Sub County in Kitgum District bordering Karamoja Sub Region, they called it their farms. Reiterated whoever wants to reach me should call me through Whatsapp contact.
An pe aloko ki lum idoga! Literally I am not trying to woo you in danger. He allegedly said the Tutsi tribe, they are backing up the M23 rebels. The president Tesikede of DR. Congo has been accusing Rwanda and Uganda government of backing M23 rebels.
He alleged that Tutsi is now causing genocide in South Sudan, but, the Nure people are now defending themselves fighting the Tutsi. However, for us we are pretending to work with them.
When apaa people are suffering, see what is taking place. We who are in Agago district are saying it’s the problem of the Amuru community, when the problem is taking place in Agago, heavy trees cutting causing environmental climate change, we say those are the Agago people’s issues.
We don’t learn from the Red Indian in the USA and the Aboriginal of Australia, in 20 year the Acholi population will drastically become 500,000 from 3 million only.
We are witnessing nodding syndrome, what are we looking for?Acholi people both in diaspora and within the country want to eat well, dress in very expensive clothes, and drive the latest models of vehicles. And yet our people are wallowing in poverty and extinction
Contact me through whatsapp in three days. When can we keep quiet for too long? There is an adage that says everybody claims victory and says he is the one.
Wic aryo pe tingo Agulu Pii, Literally two heads cannot carry pot. But let us unite to face the monster. James Born said he was in the Uganda National Liberation Army (UNLA), I did more training in the British and also during Uganda People Congress Party government (UPC, Dr. Milton Apollo Obote II government, if our government was not toppled by the current Kampala regime.
We would have done a lot, let us come up with one solution, to fight this regime through democracy. The western world will support us. I would like to tell you the more value we add to our people, with PHD we have in thousands. What is your value and help to the Acholi community when you were born to protect them?
“I like the noise of democracy, my sisters and brothers, Karac ci rac gwok omato kipii, literally what came. We have seen it all, a coward dies in thousands.
Wake up wake up wake up. Tutsi cannot humiliate us, we also have two balls and our women are like their women.
Wake up wake up wake up
