The curtain falls on the Omoro Local District Chairman as Andrew Okot Obibi beat the odds in the Omoro election rigging machine, to elect the people’s voice. Meanwhile, the vehicle belonging to Emma Okot, Omoro Residence District Commission which was on a mission transporting pre-ticked Election martials in Aremo Sub County, Omoro District was also pursued up to Abuga parish until they would no longer drop the stuffed ballots box .

The Okot Andrew aka Obibii, the Luo adage referred to as the human melancholy end of the world thwarted Okello Dogulas Peter Okao in Omoro District Chairman election race putting a long process of rigging turned to send weak and compromised leaders in August House.
Okot Obibii won Omoro District Chairman with 20,507 votes, while Okello Duglas Peter Okao got 10,020 votes total votes cast 30,524 in the last January 15, 2026.
In modest address in Acet his village, Okot Obibii highlight four areas of his priority he will tackle in his 100 days in officer as Omoro District Chairman, I have wisdom to do my work, I will work with people of Omoro District to developed the area, in other word I am people center. Most importantly, my focus is service delivery to our community.
When I was declared a winner, I told Omoro Residence District RDC, Emma Okot that I will work with him. Also, I told Omoro District Police Commander and District Internal Intelligence officer that I am ready to work with them to develop the district.
I will support those Councilors who stood with me during my campaign, especially the Acet Township Councilor 111, Toby Labeja.
“Omoro District leadership is dead, I cannot blame Okello Douglas Okao, for what happened, leaders come at time, what lies ahead of us work. Time for politicking is over, let us focus on development.” Obibii warned.
I know many people sept on my toes, and forgive them, leadership require commitment and skills to perform work

Why Obibii is a legend in Luo hegemony
Once upon a time, there lived a human melancholy known as Obibii Lawange 12. Now, with Obibii beating the political odds in Acholi Sub Region, it has become synonymous with political movement at the dawn of human suffering.
How the Obibii made it
In Acholi/Luo belief in traditional deity of Olal Teng of Puranga chiefdom, and as such since the passing on of Masimiro Owor, since then. Puranga chiefdom has not been practicing Olal Teng deity. Also, in the past, there were such people who could perform the traditional cinching ceremony of hill, forest and either by chasing away Cen bad spirits.
In Puranga chiefdom was a man called Lamiyi-ling from the clan of Lukee Amor who would perform cinching of Omoro hill, when it is predicted that rain pattern would affect the chiefdom, if bad omen is likely to occur.
Their roles of such men also involved Agat literally casting misery, the person would perform such ritual. Ngat moni, ma cwiny rac, Gemo ma mito turu pacco, Nyodo ma peke bot litino Anyera ki Awobe, lur moni wang ceng oter oter ci oter, wang cheng oter ci oter, Langer Ni Nger, Awobe owot ma nyim gi odyak, Kalam ki kwan wa moto Lee oto ci oto, two gemo owok ki cen.
Literally mean, the calamity that would befall our community, must be eradicated, the bad spirits must be chased, impotent that endowed our youths, is no more, all must be cast. We need new bouncing babies, a healthy environment and a good steward of leadership.
Thus, came Francis Okello Mawa, from the Lukwor clan, a man of rounded spherical background. He heard a call to become Head of Latee of Northern Uganda Anglican Church came; he stood up for that position. And in 2015, when Uganda declared St. Janani Loum became the latest Martyrdom, he was among the 550 pilgrims who walked on foot from Namirembe Cathedral where the late Archbishop of Uganda, Rwanda-Burundi and Boga Zaire was murder in cold blood by Uganda Dictator President Idi Amin.
While they were on the pilgrimage, when they reached Bombo, Okello Mawa could not dare to walk anymore. Those people whom they were on pilgrimage, including Amb. Olara Otunnu, decided that at 5:00 AM local East African time, he should transport him back to Gulu while the pilgrimage continued.
Okello Mawa Francis, in his narrative discourse revealed that at around time he should have been transported to bus, while in deep sleep, the spirit of Archbishop Loum spokes to him, and said, behold before crossing Karuma Bridge, all the pilgrimages, there is going to chaos among them.
But what you can do, tell Acholi elders to come and be prepared to welcome you when you cross the bridge, and they should slaughter H-goats, and you must cross Karuma bridge alone.
“When I heard the voice of the Archbishop Janani Loum, my wound between my thighs got healed, and I became very active telling people to prepare on foot, everybody got shocked. And I told the elders from the Acholi community to prepare H-Goat, which they did.”
In Another message the late Archbishop St, Janani Loum told him to prepare Acholi community not to live their culture, because when the late S. Janani Loum became clergy, he was molded in Acholi traditional cultural norms, and God’s mission also dwelt on that.
Mawa Francis Okello, now a traditional ritual cinching, who talked to valley and hill, he used the ritual power to withstand the NRM rigging machine. And he is still the man whose knowledge dwelt in wisdom of traditions, Puranga chiefdom they are still waiting for Olal Teng Deity when he appears, there will be no more human misery.
The calamity of the outbreak like Ebola, HIV/AID Hepatitis B, and C, the Balaalo immigrants and the social vices that affect western world, would not be anymore.
