UGANDA: GULU REGIONAL REFERRAL HOSPITAL COVID-19 PANDEMIC STILL STAND AT 16 NEW MORE CASES

More 16 COVID-19 patients brought to Gulu Regional Referral Hospital as the minister ACENG pitch camp in Gulu to oversee the opetation

GULU-UGANDA: more positive COVID -19 patients have been admitted to Gulu Clinical Medical institution from Elegu Uganda-South Sudan boarder according the eyes witness most of those have been admitted are hanging up the balcony of the one floor of institute.

Source who talk to our news source and asked not to be name says yesterday Friday May 21, the community of Pabbo had block the Kenya truck driver not to come out of his truck from 8.00 AM till 5.00pm after learning that the truck driver is tested result for COVID is positive,  source intimates.

Dr.  James Elima the Director of Gulu Regional Referral Hospital urged the Health minuter Dr.  Ruth ACENG that Gulu Regional Referral Hospital treatment center for COVID,  therefore the 16 reported should be refer to Lira  Regional Referral Hospital,  but the minuter rejected the request  of the director.

“Dr.  ACENG insists that the all 16 patients should be admitted to Gulu, however Oyeng Yeng News source maintain the numbers is still stand at 16 patients

Internal Affairs still maintained too that they number of patients still stand at 16, prior to the previous information.

However,  At.  Mary Hospital Lacor had refused to admit COVID case , argues that they fought Ebola alone in 2000 , without the help from health ministry.
